Retired Capt. Dan M. Carpenter, SC, USN, 91, passed away on June 2, 2018. Carpenter retired in November 1977 after 29 years of active service while serving as Supply Officer, Puget Sound, Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, Washington. He was commissioned in the U.S. Navy in June 1948. He received his bachelor’s degree from Pomona College in 1948.
