Training With Industry (TWI) is a 12-month program providing Supply Corps lieutenants and lieutenant commanders with the opportunity to represent the United States Navy while serving as interns with some of the top corporations in the nation. Officers selected for this program are exposed to executive level decision-making at a Fortune 500 Company and will expand their professional supply and logistics education. These companies include Starbucks Coffee Company (Seattle, Washington), The Home Depot (Atlanta, Georgia), FedEx (Memphis, Tennessee), and ExxonMobil (Houston, Texas).     Upon completion of the TWI tour, officers are selectively detailed to our most challenging assignments. TWI is a phenomenal opportunity that expands the business perspective and acumen for our most talented officers who have demonstrated significant potential for increased leadership positions in the Supply Corps. Any questions about the program may be sent to the Career Counselor at supplycorpscareercounselor@navy.mil.     The following segments are written by TWI participants, sharing their learning experiences and growth in this extraordinary program.
