    Capt. Edward Gaetz, 87, passed away July 25, 2013, in Jasper, Florida. A funeral Mass was held on July 30, 2013, with Committal Service following in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia. Capt. Gaetz retired in August 1973 while serving as Commanding Officer, Navy Supply Corps School, Athens, Georgia, after 30 years of active naval service. Capt. Edward Gaetz     He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in February 1943, was commissioned an ensign in the Supply Corps of the U.S. Naval Reserve in June 1946, and augmented to active Navy duty in 1947. He received his master’s degree from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 1964. Duty stations included: USS Princeton; Naval Air Technical Training Unit, Olathe, Kansas; Fleet Aircraft Service Squadron 118; Staff, Chief of Naval Air Advanced Training, Corpus Christi, Texas; Headquarters, Sixth Naval District; USS Hermitage; Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California; Naval Supply Center, Oakland, California; Bureau of Supplies and Accounts, Washington, D.C.; Air Force Institute of Technology; Staff, Commander Service Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet; Navy Electronics Supply Office, Great Lakes, Illinois; and Naval Support Activity, Saigon, Vietnam.
