From Dec. 9-13 2013, Aviation Support Division New Orleans, La. (ASD NOLA) conducted its annual supply management inspection (SMI). Lt. Cmdr. Michelle Joachim served as the officer in charge. The inspection team represented supply management Naval Reserve Force logistic members from both the Pacific and Atlantic Fleet region under the guidance of Cmdr. E. B. Werve, Supply Corps, USN.

ASD NOLA received a final grade of “Outstanding” as their overall finding in areas represented in Control Division, Material Division, Carcass Tracking, Government Purchase Credit Card Program, Training and Security, Pre-Extended Bin (PEB) Branch, as well as other supply management functional areas.
Of note, the SMI team leader recognized several members of the ASD NOLA team for their outstanding contributions to the overall final grade of “Outstanding.” Ms. Lisa Hill, Mr. Reggie Love, Mr. Earl Boswell, and Stock Control Supervisor Mr. Jay Racadio were recognized for his/her “Dedication and initiative in embracing Navy ERP and has made great strides in learning and effectively utilizing the new system of record!”
ASD NOLA successfully demonstrated a high level of dedication and professionalism in working with support aviation logistic squadrons in providing operational readiness to meet all required essential mission support demand. ASD NOLA serves a vital role in continued support and outstanding readiness for flight line operations.
