85, passed away. Capt. John H. Dunlevy retired with 25 years of active service while serving as Supply Officer, Naval Air Station, North Island, San Diego, California. He was commissioned in the U.S. Navy 3 June 1951. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1951, and his master’s degree from George Washington University in 1965. Duty assignments included: USS Ajax (AR 6); Supply Officer, USS Borie (DD 704); Naval Supply Center, Oakland, California; Naval Communications Station, San Francisco, California; Marine Corps Air Facility, Iwakuni, Japan; Defense Petroleum Supply Center, Washington, District of Columbia; Navy Regional Finance Center, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; Supply Officer, USS Ticonderoga (CVA 14); Navy Aviation Supply Office, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Staff, Commander in Chief, U.S. Forces Europe, London, England.
