Capt. Michael Wilson, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Global Logistics Support (GLS) Chief of Staff welcomes all in attendance to the NAVSUP GLS Littoral Combat Ship, Mission Package Support Facility (MPSF) and DDG-1000 support team alignment workshop along with a DDG-1000 Logistics Rehearsal of Concept at Naval Station, San Diego, California, on March 29-31. The primary purpose of this event is to provide a forum for NAVSUP Distance Support component leadership and functional leads to discuss and agree upon swim lanes and lines of authority.   • Organizational Structuring - Build centers of excellence that can rapidly accomplish tasks and reduce the number of man-hours required to complete those tasks.
  • Organizational Branding and Standardization - Make our LST services across the enterprise exceed customer expectations and have one standard process to follow to request and receive these services.
  • Professional Development - Establish and develop mentor/mentee relationships and identify areas ripe for process improvement fixes to raise quality, reduce costs, or create value.
