Higgins Culinary Specialists planned and executed a spread of continental breakfast, including homemade mini quiches, cinnamon rolls and fresh fruit for the VCNO, his staff, and the Higgins Wardroom to enjoy during a Junior Officer mentorship session.
“Our Culinary Specialists strive every day to provide unique, quality food as a morale booster,” Cmdr. Shue explained. “Hosting Admiral Ferguson was a wonderful opportunity for them to showcase their talent.” The VCNO presented a coin to CSSN Johneduard Cruz and thanked the Food Service team for the outstanding preparation and service they all provided during his visit.
