Mark Pimpo said Trevino stood out among his peers.  "Of all the great instructors here at NSCS, Mr. Trevino's passion from the podium is well known, both by his customers, the students, and his peers," Capt. Pimpo said.  "Mr. Trevino's involvement in meeting the needs of the fleet by preparing our students with the personal and professional foundations for success is unparalleled."  Supporting Trevino's selection was the rare distinction of being selected twice in a row by a graduating class as the Instructor of the Battalion for demonstrating the highest quality instruction, leadership and mentorship.  He was also one of the first civilians to earn the Master Training Specialist qualification under NSCS' newly established program.    Trevino said he is humbled by his selection as CSS Civilian of the Quarter.  "When I first learned of it I was speechless, considering so many dedicated and talented personnel throughout CSS Domain, and then being selected as Civilian of the Year for NSCS, it was just awesome," Trevino said.  "It is a real honor to be selected.  I don't do the job to get promoted or recognized, I'm here to serve the fleet.  I've found that promotion and recognition just seem to follow in professional organizations that care about their Sailors' and employees' significant contributions."  In his position as Retail Operations instructor, Trevino is responsible for training more than 250 junior Supply Corps officers each year, and preparing them for their first operational tour.  The Navy Supply Corps School provides Supply Corps officers, Department of Defense and international logisticians, a continuum of personal and professional development to successfully support the Navy and joint warfighter.   By Lt.
