RetirementsCAPT. MARK R. GOODRICH

Capt. Mark Goodrich, SC, USN, completed 25 years of active service and retired on August 10, 2015, after serving at Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River Maryland as the Department Head for Aircraft Support Contracts (AIR-2.5). His previous duty stations include USS Mount Whitney (LCC 20); Fleet Industrial Supply Center Guam; Helicopter Combat Support Squadron Five (HC-5), Guam; USS Chandler (DDG 996); Defense Logistics Agency, Fort Belvoir, VA; USS Wasp (LHD 1); Executive Assistant to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Acquisition and Logistics Management; Commander, Fleet and Industrial Supply Centers (COMFISCS), San Diego, California; and USNS Alan Shepard (T-AKE 3).

CAPT. FRANK R. SARRA

Capt. Frank Sarra, SC, USN, completed 27 years of active service and retired on September 1, 2015, after serving at Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP), Weapon Systems Support. He received his bachelor’s degree at Boston College and his master’s degree at U.S. Naval War College. His previous duty stations include Defense Contract Management Agency, Boston, Massachusetts; NAVSUP Field Detachment, Arlington, Virginia; USNS Richard E. Byrd (T-AKE 4); Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Jacksonville, Florida; Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida; Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Atlantic Fleet, Norfolk, Virginia; USS Fletcher (DD 992), Naval Air Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia; and USS South Carolina (CGN 37).

CMDR. ROY A. DRAKE

Cmdr. Roy A. Drake, SC, USN completed 33 years of active service and retired December 1, 2014, after serving at Chief of Naval Operations, Spares Programs and Policy Branch (N412), Pentagon, Washington, D.C. He received his bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University and his master’s degrees from Southern New Hampshire University and Naval Postgraduate School. His previous duty stations include Program Executive Officer Tactical Aircraft Programs, Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland; Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Richmond, Virginia; U.S. Pacific Command Joint Petroleum Office, Honolulu, Hawaii; USS Duluth (LPD 6); Naval Station Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico; U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, Bahrain; and USS Belleau Wood (LHA 3).

CMDR. GWENDOLYN WILLIS

Cmdr. Gwendolyn Willis, SC, USN, completed 34 years 10 months of active service and retired on April 10, 2015, after serving at Defense Logistics Agency Maritime, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Virginia. She received her bachelor’s degree at Excelsior College, New York. Her previous duty stations include USS Tarawa (LHA 1); Naval Weapons Station Charleston, South Carolina; USNS Niagara Falls (TAFS 3); Fleet Integrated Logistics Overhaul Team, Portsmouth, Virginia; Commander, Logistic Forces, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, Commander, Task Force 53, Bahrain; USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75); Director, Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Newport News, Virginia; Expeditionary Combat Readiness Center Forward/Individual Augmentee Headquarters, U.S. Central Command; and Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, Bahrain.
