Capt. Kevin Hinson

 Capt. Kevin Hinson, SC, USN, completed 29 years of active service and retired Nov. 1, 2012 after serving at Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C.  He received his bachelor’s degree at The University of North Carolina, Wilmington, N.C., and his master’s degrees at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, Fla.  His previous duty stations include USS Emory S. Land (AS 39); Naval Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg, Pa.; Program Executive Officer Submarines, Washington, D.C.; Navy Supply Systems Command, Millington, Tenn.; Commander, Submarine Force, U. Capt. Rodderick Hubbard

Capt. Rodderick Hubbard, SC, USN, completed 26 years of active service and retired Nov. 1, 2012 after serving at Assistant Secretary of the Navy, Washington, D.C.  He received his bachelor’s degree at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, Edwardsville, Ill., and his master’s degree at Webster University, St. Louis, Mo.  His previous duty stations include Chief of Naval Operations, Arlington, Va.; USNS Spica (T-AFS 9); Department of the Navy Deputy Comptroller, Arlington; Commander, Naval Sea Systems Command, Mechanicsburg, Pa.; Program Executive Office, Air Assault and Special Missions Program, Patuxent River, Md.; USS Arleigh Burke (DDG 52); Navy Exchange Detachment Sasebo, Sasebo, Japan; Defense Plant Representative Office McDonald Douglas, St Louis, Mo., and USS Harlan (LST 11).

 Capt. James Marler, Jr.

 Capt. James Marler, Jr., SC, USN, completed 30 years of active service and retired Nov. 1, 2012 after serving at Navy Transportation Support Center, Norfolk, Va.  He received his bachelor’s degree at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Tenn., and his master’s degree at National Defense University, Fort McNair, D.C., with an additional master’s degree at U. S. Navy Postgraduate School, Monterey, Calif.  His previous duty stations include Naval Operational Logistics Support Center, Mechanicsburg, Pa.; Commander, U. S. Naval Forces Central Command, Manama, Bahrain; Commander Expeditionary Strike Group ONE, San Diego, Calif.; United States Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla.; Commander, Navy Supply Systems Command, Naval Personnel Command Detachment, Millington, Tenn.; Commander-in-Chief, U.  Capt. Mark Sparling

 Capt. Mark Sparling, SC, USN completed 31 years of service and retired Dec. 1, 2012 after serving at Naval Supply Systems Command Global Logistics Support, Norfolk, Va.  He completed electronics technical school at Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., in 1974 and served as an Aircraft Control and Warning Radar technician in Alaska and Mississippi.  He left Air Force active duty in 1976 as an E-4, and later received his bachelor’s degree at Wright State University, Dayton, Ohio.  He was commissioned through the Supply Corps Direct Commissioning program in 1984, and completed the BQC(I) as Thirteenth Company’s Honor Graduate.  His previous assignments included Director of Resources and Requirements, Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa, Djibouti; Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Columbus, Ohio; Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group, Williamsburg, Va.; Alternate Joint Communications Center, Raven Rock Mountain Complex, Pa.; Defense Supply Center Columbus, Ohio; Officer in Charge, Cargo Afloat Rig Team G113, Youngstown, Ohio; Training Officer and Detachment Officer in Charge, Navy Cargo Handling Battalion Nine, Columbus and Dayton, Ohio; and Commander, U.S. Forces Japan, Akron, Ohio.  In addition to his 12 month deployment to CJTF-HOA in Djibouti, he was also mobilized in 1991 with Navy Cargo Handling Battalion Nine to Rota, Spain and Hurghada, Egypt.

 Capt. Glenn Stafford

 Capt. Glenn Stafford, SC, USN, completed 27 years of active service and retired Dec. 1, 2012 after serving at U. S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md.  He received his bachelor’s degree at U. S. Naval Academy, and his master’s degrees at U. S. Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, Calif.  His previous duty stations include Naval Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg, Pa.; USS Niagara Falls (T-AFS 3); Department of the Navy Office of Legislative Affairs, Arlington, Va.; Naval Inventory Control Point, Philadelphia; Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound, Bremerton, Wash.; USS Patterson (FF 1061) and USS Guadalcanal (LPH 7).

 Capt. Francis Tisak

 Capt. Francis Tisak, SC, USN, completed 30 years of active service and retired Dec. 1, 2012 after serving at Defense Logistics Agency Headquarters, Ft Belvoir, Va.  He received his bachelor’s degree at The University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Ind., and his master’s degree at Naval War College, Newport, R.I. with an addition master’s degree at The Pennsylvania State University, University Park, Pa.  His previous duty stations include Assistant Secretary of the Navy, Research, Development and Acquisition, Washington, D.C.; Commander, Maritime Force Protection Command, Little Creek, Va.; USNS Sirius (T-AFS 8); Program Executive Officer, Tactical Aircraft Programs, Patuxent River, Md.; U.  Cmdr. John Gilliland

 Cmdr. John Gilliland, SC, USN, completed 22 years of active service and retired Dec. 1, 2012 after serving at Office of the Secretary of Defense, Arlington, Va.  He received his bachelor’s degree at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and his master’s degree at U.S. Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, Calif.  His previous duty stations include Defense Logistics Agency, Fort Belvoir, Va.; Department of the Navy, Office of Legislative Affairs, Arlington, Va.; USS Rushmore (LSD 47): Navy Supply Corps School, Athens, Ga., and USS Jason (AR 8).

 Cmdr. Travis Goodwin

 Cmdr. Travis Goodwin, SC, USN, completed 25 years of active service and retried Nov. 1, 2012 after serving at U. S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill.  He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Thomas A. Edison State College, Trenton, N.J.  His previous duty stations include Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic, Norfolk, Va; USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71); Headquarters, 18th Airlift Control Center, Scott Air Force Base, Ill.; USS Fife (DD 991); Navy Supply Corps School, Athens, Ga., and USS Simon Lake (AS 33).

 LCDR Jodie Forbes

 LCDR Jodie Forbes, SC, USN, completed 29 years of active service and retired Dec. 1, 2012 after serving at Naval Operations Logistics Support Center Detachment, Norfolk, Va.  He received his bachelor’s degree at Norfolk State University, Norfolk, and his master’s degree at Touro University International, Cypress, Calif..  His previous duty stations include Afloat Training Group, Norfolk; USS Mitscher (DDG 57); Commander, Submarine Force, U. S. Pacific Fleet, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; Atlantic Logistics Support Center, Norfolk, and USS Saipan (LHA 2).

 LCDR Michael Dube

 LCDR Michael Dube, SC, USN, completed 20 years of active service and retired Dec. 1, 2012 after serving at Joint Base Pearl Harbor, Hickam Air Force Base, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.  He received his bachelor’s degree at U. S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md., and his master’s degree at U. S. Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, Calif.  His previous duty station include Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville, Fla.; Commander, Special Operations Command, Aiea, Hawaii; USS Howard (DDG 83); Naval Air Station Brunswick, Brunswick, Maine and USS Ponce (LPD 15).

 LCDR Pamela Renee Heater

 LCDR Pamela Heater, SC, USN, completed 27 years of active service and retired Nov. 1, 2012 after serving at Commander, Naval Beach Group TWO, Little Creek, Va.  She received her bachelor’s degree at Chaminade University, Honolulu, Hawaii.  Her previous duty stations include Commander, Maritime Civil Affairs Group, Norfolk, Va.; USS Harry S Truman (CVN 75); Commander, 2nd Fleet, Norfolk, Va., and Naval Air Station Oceana, Norfolk.

 LCDR Ronald Montehermoso

 LCDR Ronald Montehermoso, SC, USN, completed 20 years of active service and retired Nov. 1, 2012 after serving at Program Executive Officer, C4I and Space, San Diego.  He received his bachelor’s degree at The University of San Diego, and his master’s degree at U. S. Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, Calif.  His previous duty stations include Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Rota, Spain; Commander, Naval Supply Systems Command, Mechanicsburg, Pa.; USS Rushmore (LSD 47); Commander, Helicopter Combat Support Squadron THREE, North Island, Calif., and USS Constellation (CV 64).

 CWO Stephen Jones

 CWO Stephen Jones, SC, USN, completed 30 years of active service and retired on Dec. 1, 2012 after serving at Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic, Norfolk, Va.  His previous duty stations include Naval Supply Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella, Bahrain; USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70); Center for Service Support, Athens, Ga. and USNS Sirius (T-AFS 8).

CWO Herman Mccray, Jr.

CWO Herman McCray, Jr., SC, USN, completed 30 years of active service and retired Dec. 1, 2012 after serving at Commander, Naval Region Southeast, Jacksonville, Fla.  He received his bachelor’s degree at The University of the State of New York, Albany, N.Y., and his master’s degree at American Military University, Charles Town, W.Va.  His previous duty stations include Naval Air Station Sigonella, Sigonella, Italy; USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19); Navy Support Activity, Athens, Calif.; USS Saipan (LHA 2) AND USS Briscoe (DD 977).

 CWO Nora Vitug

 CWO Nora Vitug, SC, USN, completed 24 years of active service and retired Nov. 1, 2012 after serving at Naval Bass Point Loma, San Diego.  His previous duty stations include USS Peleliu (LHA 5) and Naval Station San Diego.
