Ret. Captain E. Harry Tempest, SC, USN

Retired Captain E. Harry Tempest, SC, USN, 82, passed away on November 6, 2017. Capt. Tempest retired in January 1987 while serving at the Defense Logistics Agency, Cameron Station, Alexandria, Virginia. He received his bachelor’s from Drexel Institute of Technology and his master’s from the Naval Postgraduate School. Duty stations include Staff, Commander Naval Surface Group Western Pacific, Subic Bay, Philippines; Naval Supply Systems Command, Washington, D.C.; USS San Diego (AFS 6); Office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Washington, D.C.; Hunters Point Naval Shipyard, San Francisco, California; Staff, Commander Service Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; Naval Supply Center, Norfolk, Virginia; USS Yancey (AKA 93); Navy Regional Finance Office, Norfolk, Virginia; and USS Northhampton (CLC 1).
